This league is intended to provide the opportunity for players wanting to continue playing in the winter. There is no need for pre-booking at any of the events, pairs just need to turn up and register by 9.45 at the latest.
Each event is run as a self contained tournament run on a random draw (snake) format over 5 or 6 rounds. There is an entry fee of £4 per pair with all the money going out as prizes.
Players do not have to play in all the events and do not have to play with the same partners at different events. Each player carries their own score forward and there is a trophy for the league winner(s).
